Your FBA shipment rejection problem ends here.
Amazon rejections cost you IPI score, restock limits, and 4 to 7 days of lost sales. We prep to FBA spec so your shipments arrive and stay received.
Amazon FBA in the UAE means storing inventory in Amazon's fulfilment centres, which then pick, pack, ship, and handle returns and customer service. Your cost is two layers: Amazon's own fees (a referral fee of 8 to 15 percent by category, a per-unit fulfilment fee by size and weight, and monthly storage) plus the prep that must be right before a shipment is accepted: FNSKU labels, compliant polybags, carton labels, and no expired or damaged units. A rejected shipment costs IPI score, restock limits, and 4 to 7 days of lost sales.
SamVertex preps to FBA spec from a Ras Al Khor warehouse at AED 0.50 per unit, with FNSKU, polybag, bubble wrap, and bundling add-ons published from AED 0.50 to AED 1.50 per unit, carton labelling and inbound handling included, same-day onboarding, and no minimums. Published rates, not a quote form, so the prep math is clear before you ship.
That is the answer; the rest of this page shows exactly how the prep prevents the rejections.
The real cost of rejection
One rejected shipment is frustrating. A pattern of rejections is a business problem. Here's what actually happens when your FBA shipment gets kicked back.
-
Lost sales velocity
While your inventory sits in recovery, your BSR drops. Every day rejected is a day your listing loses rank to faster competitors.
-
IPI score damage
Amazon's Inventory Performance Index tracks your operational health. Rejections and delays drop your score below the 400 threshold that gates restock limits.
-
Restock limit hits
Drop below IPI 400 and Amazon caps how many units you can send to FBA. You lose flexibility exactly when you need it most for Q4, Ramadan, or launches.
How we prevent rejection
Every FBA-bound shipment goes through our prep audit before it leaves our Ras Al Khor warehouse. Here's the checklist that catches rejection risks before Amazon does.
-
Inbound SKU verification
We scan and verify every SKU against your shipment manifest. Mismatches between declared and received quantities get flagged immediately, with photos sent to you before we proceed.
-
Physical condition inspection
We check for damaged packaging, leaking products, open seals, and any condition Amazon would flag on receive. Damaged units get set aside with photos. You decide whether to include them or return to supplier.
-
FBA labeling
We print and apply FNSKU labels on every unit. Your Amazon listing barcodes stay covered per FBA requirements. We verify label placement meets Amazon's 'clearly visible on the largest flat face' spec.
-
Poly-bagging and protection
Units requiring poly-bagging get bagged with suffocation warnings as required. Fragile items get bubble-wrap or foam. We apply Amazon's specific prep requirements per category (apparel, toys, liquids, etc.).
-
Bundle and multi-pack prep
If you sell bundles or multi-packs, we physically assemble them, apply bundle FNSKU labels, and ensure the whole unit is shrink-wrapped or boxed per your specification. No Amazon FBA rejection on mixed bundles.
-
Carton-level packing
Master cartons built to Amazon's max weight (50 lbs) and dimensional limits. Carton labels printed with your shipment ID, 'Ship From' and 'Ship To' addresses, and FBA routing details.
-
Final outbound audit
Before pickup, every carton goes through a 15-point final check. Weight verified, labels aligned, shipping docs attached, pickup window confirmed with carrier.

Things Amazon sellers ask us
-
How long does prep take from arrival to FBA-ready?
Standard shipments ship FBA-ready within 48 to 72 hours of arrival at our warehouse. Larger or complex shipments (bundles, specialty prep) might take longer. We communicate timing at receive, not after delays.
-
What happens if Amazon rejects a shipment you prepped?
In 90 days we haven't had rejections on prep we controlled. If Amazon rejected something due to a prep issue on our end, we redo the prep and re-ship at no cost to you. If the rejection is on Amazon's side (their scanning error, policy change), we handle the appeal with you.
-
Do you handle restock limit strategy or inventory planning?
No. We execute prep and fulfillment operations. Inventory strategy, forecasting, and restock limit management are your side of the table. We can refer you to UAE-based Amazon consultants who specialize in that if you need it.
-
Can I see the prep process before my shipment ships?
Yes. Every stage is on your SamVertex dashboard with photos at key checkpoints. You can approve or flag anything before we finalize the shipment.
-
What categories can't you prep?
We prep most categories that are legal under UAE law and accepted by Amazon MENA. We don't handle alcohol (FBA restricts it anyway), items requiring cold chain beyond our warehouse spec, or anything prohibited under our Terms of Service. Check your category at onboarding.
