Is storage billed upfront?

No. Storage is calculated based on actual CBM occupied on the last day of the month and invoiced at month-end.

What's included in AED 29 delivery?

Pickup from our warehouse, delivery to the customer's door, POD with photo and signature, and one re-delivery attempt. Same as our standalone Last-mile service.

Why are returns free?

Because we're partners in this. When a customer returns a package, you've already lost the sale. That's already painful. Piling a handling fee on top of that loss is not how a partner behaves. We absorb returns as part of the fulfillment service, quietly. Your invoice at month-end doesn't know the difference between an order that went out and an order that came back.

Storage

AED 85 per CBM per month. What that means.

CBM means cubic meter, a measure of volume. 1 CBM is a cube measuring 1 meter on each side. For reference, 1 CBM fits roughly 50 shoeboxes, 12 medium moving boxes, or the average amount of stock for a new Shopify store.

We bill based on actual CBM occupied at the end of each month. If your stock grows or shrinks mid-month, we measure the last-day state. You do not pay for empty shelf space.

What we accept: dry goods only. We do not store perishables, batteries, liquids in bulk, hazardous materials, or anything that needs temperature control. If you are not sure about your specific product, message us first.

Barcode-driven, not memory-driven

Every SKU in our warehouse is barcoded. Pickers scan, system confirms. No "wait, was this the right blue shirt" moments at pack.

Photo on every order

Before we seal the box, we photograph the packed contents. Stored on the order, visible to you in SVX. If anything is ever disputed, there is a timestamped photo.

Standard or branded

Default packaging is plain boxes. If you want branded boxes, tissue paper, thank-you cards, or inserts, those are available on quote.

Cash on delivery

Cash collected, reconciled automatically.

In the UAE, COD is still 40 to 50 percent of e-commerce orders. We built SVX to handle it properly.

We do not use paper COD sheets or end-of-week spreadsheets. Every collection is logged the moment the driver confirms delivery. Every transaction is tied to an order and a merchant, timestamped, with the driver's ID attached.

Payouts happen on your schedule. Some merchants want weekly, others every two weeks, some on demand through the portal. Tell us what works, we will set it up. Full transaction log visible in your dashboard.

Delivery

UAE-wide on our own network.

Delivery is included in Direct Sales at AED 29 per order. Same-day within Dubai if the order is placed before 2 PM. Next-day to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

We operate the delivery network ourselves, not resold through a third-party courier. That is why POD, COD, and tracking all show up in the same platform the rest of your operation runs on. For the full platform detail, see our Last-mile page.

Questions we get.

What does Direct Sales actually cover?

Storage, pick and pack, COD collection, delivery, and returns. Full operational backend for your e-commerce business. You handle products, marketing, and customer relationships. We handle everything between order placed and cash in your account.

How is this different from FBA prep or Marketplace fulfillment?

FBA prep is preparing your stock for Amazon's warehouses (Amazon fulfills from there). Marketplace fulfillment is for sellers on Amazon FBM or Noon FBP where the platform owns the customer. Direct Sales is for sellers who own their own customer relationship on Shopify, their own website, Instagram, WhatsApp, or TikTok.

Can I use Direct Sales and Marketplace at the same time?

Yes. Many merchants sell on both their own Shopify and on Amazon or Noon. We can split your stock between Direct Sales fulfillment and Marketplace-destined stock in the same warehouse, same merchant account. One invoice covers both.

What are the pricing details?

Storage: AED 85 per CBM per month. Pick and pack: AED 3 per order, regardless of complexity. Delivery: AED 29 per order. Returns handling: free. COD collection: no extra fee. Custom packaging: quote based. Monthly invoice, no setup fees, no minimums.

What's the minimum volume?

None. Pay per transaction. If you only ship 10 orders a month, you pay for 10 pick and packs and 10 deliveries plus your actual CBM storage. We built this for small sellers as much as for established brands.

How does the cost calculator estimate match my real invoice?

Calculator uses current rates exactly. Your real invoice differs only if you have custom packaging on quote. Returns are free and COD is no-fee, so neither affects the estimate. What you see in the calculator is what you pay.

What's the onboarding process?

Five days from first contact to first delivery. Day 1: call and confirm fit. Day 2: account setup. Day 3: arrange inventory inbound. Day 4: stock received and barcoded. Day 5: first orders ship.

How do I send my orders to you?

Shopify: native SamVertex app syncs orders and pushes fulfillment updates back. Amazon and Noon: API. WooCommerce, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok: you CC [email protected] on your order confirmations and the dispatcher logs them. CSV upload and manual portal entry also available.

What about custom packaging?

Fully supported. Branded boxes, tissue paper, inserts, thank-you cards, custom tape, all on quote basis. Tell us what you want, we source or coordinate with your print vendor, and we set up your pack station with your materials.

How is COD handled?

Driver collects cash at delivery, logs the amount in the driver app, collection appears in SVX immediately. Cash returns to the office at end of day, reconciled against order records. Payout to you on whatever frequency works for your cash flow: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or on demand.

What happens with returns?

Customer requests return, we coordinate pickup, inbound to our warehouse, quality check, and either restock to your inventory or dispose per your instructions. All free. Returns handling is included in the fulfillment service.

Do I need a long-term contract?

No contracts, month-to-month. If it's not working for you, stop sending stock. We ship your remaining inventory back at cost. No exit fees, no penalties.
