Pricing and billing

How much does fulfillment cost?

Fulfillment pricing depends on the service. Dry storage is AED 85 per CBM per month, temperature-controlled storage (food, cosmetics, supplements) is AED 120 per CBM per month. Pick and pack is AED 3 per order up to 20kg, full-service direct delivery across the UAE is AED 29 per order, and FBA prep is AED 0.50 per unit plus carton labeling. No setup fees, no COD fees, no minimum commitment.

Do you charge onboarding or setup fees?

No. Onboarding, account creation on our SVX platform, integration with your store, and inbound receiving of your first shipment are all included. You only start paying once your stock is in our warehouse and orders are being fulfilled.

Is there a minimum order volume to work with you?

No hard minimum. We work with merchants doing 50 orders a month and merchants doing 5,000. Very small volumes may not be the most economical for you given fixed costs like last-mile delivery, so we will tell you honestly if another setup serves you better at your stage.

How does storage billing work?

Storage is billed monthly per cubic meter occupied, measured on the first of each month. We do not charge per SKU or per pallet, only the volume your stock actually takes up. Dry goods are AED 85 per CBM per month, temperature-controlled storage for food, cosmetics, and supplements is AED 120 per CBM per month.

What are your payment terms?

Invoices go out on the first of each month for the previous month's activity (storage, pick and pack, last-mile). Payment is due within 15 days. We accept bank transfer (UAE local and international via 3s Money) and card payment via Stripe.

Getting started

How long does onboarding take?

Same day in most cases. Onboarding is simple: we create your SVX account, connect your store, and schedule inbound of your stock. If your inventory is already in Dubai, you can be live and shipping orders the same afternoon.

Do I need a UAE company to use SamVertex?

No. We work with merchants registered anywhere. International merchants typically ship inventory to us under their own consignment or use our import of record service. We handle customs clearance and the paperwork either way.

Can I transfer my inventory from another 3PL?

Yes, and we do it often. The other 3PL releases your stock to our carrier, we receive it at our Ras Al Khor warehouse, reconcile quantities against your records, and get you live on SVX within a few days. Transfer transport is a pass-through cost, we do not mark it up.

Which ecommerce platforms do you integrate with?

Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Noon, TikTok Shop, Wix, Alibaba, and Facebook Commerce today. Integration is handled on our side via API or direct connector, you do not need developers. Custom platforms can be added on request.

Is there a minimum contract length?

No. Our agreement is month to month with 30 days notice to end. We would rather earn your renewal with service than lock you in.

Fulfillment operations

What are your daily order cutoff times?

Orders received by 2pm GST ship the same day for Dubai and Sharjah, next day for the other emirates. Orders after 2pm ship the next business day. Friday orders ship Saturday morning.

Do you handle FBA prep for Amazon?

Yes. FNSKU labeling, poly bagging, bundle preparation, carton labeling per Amazon's current spec, and pallet-ready shipments to Amazon UAE fulfillment centers. Full details on the FBA prep service page.

Can you do custom packaging, inserts, or kitting?

Yes. Branded mailers, tissue paper, thank you cards, sample inserts, gift wrapping, and multi-SKU kits are all standard. You ship us the materials, we apply them per your spec on every order. Small additional cost per order depending on complexity.

Do you handle fragile, oversized, or high-value items?

Yes. We have specific handling processes for fragile goods (extra bubble wrap, double boxing), oversized items (palletized storage and direct-to-customer freight), and high-value items (locked cage area and two-person pick verification). We do not handle hazmat, perishable food requiring cold chain, or restricted goods like batteries above 100Wh.

What about returns processing?

We receive returns, inspect them against your return reason, photograph any damage, and apply your disposition rule automatically (restock, hold for review, or dispose). Return processing is billed per item, and you see every return in real time on SVX with photos and inspection notes.

COD and payments

Do you handle cash on delivery?

Yes, COD is core to how we operate. Our drivers collect cash on delivery, funds are reconciled daily in SVX against the order value, and you get a daily COD report with photos of delivery proof. COD is available across all seven emirates with no handling fee.

How fast do I receive my COD funds?

Weekly settlement is standard, funds transferred to your bank every Monday for the previous week's collections. Daily settlement is available for merchants above 300 COD orders per month at no extra fee.

What is your COD fee?

There is none. COD collection, daily reconciliation with photo proof of delivery, daily reports, and weekly bank settlement are all included in your fulfillment pricing. We do not charge per cash-on-delivery transaction.

Technology and tracking

What is SVX?

SVX is the platform we built to run fulfillment. You get a dashboard showing live inventory, orders in progress, delivery status with driver location, COD reconciliation, and full history. It syncs two-way with your store so stock levels stay correct everywhere. If you sell on Shopify, you access SVX from your Shopify admin under Apps. If you sell on any other channel, you log in at app.samvertex.com/merchant/login with your registered email.

Do your customers get tracking?

Yes. Every order gets a branded tracking page with live status, driver ETA on the delivery day, and proof of delivery photo once completed. Tracking is available in English, Arabic, and Russian.

Do you have an API?

Yes. SVX has a REST API for orders, inventory, tracking, and webhooks. Useful if you have a custom platform, want to build an internal dashboard, or need to push fulfillment events into your own systems. API documentation is shared on request.

Can I visit the warehouse?

Yes, and we encourage it before signing. Our warehouse is at Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2, Dubai. Message us to schedule, weekdays work best, bring an Emirates ID or passport for the free zone pass.

Returns and support

What are your warehouse hours and support channels?

Warehouse operations run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm GST. Support on WhatsApp and email is covered during those hours, with same-day response. After-hours emergencies (urgent order changes, customs issues) can reach us on WhatsApp and we respond when we can.

Do you insure stock in the warehouse?

Our warehouse carries standard commercial insurance covering fire, theft, and water damage. For high-value inventory we recommend your own goods-in-trust policy naming our warehouse as the location, and we will help with the documentation. Per-item liability caps are in the service agreement.

What if something goes wrong with an order?

Every issue opens a case in SVX with photos, notes, and a timeline. Picking errors are on us, we refund the pick and pack fee and cover the return shipping. Damage in transit is investigated with the carrier, with replacement or refund depending on your preference. No tickets disappear, everything is logged and visible to you.
